Nashville-based Roochie Toochie are Aaron Jonah Lewis, Joy Patterson, Tim Findlen, Lindsay McCaw, and Matt Bell. The sport the familiar fiddles, banjo, and ukulele, as well as less-familiar sound-makers like a row of squeezy toys and slide whistle. They’re on tour in New England and thought they would try playing for a contra dance. Why not? Local caller Dugan Murphy will keep them in line.
