Cherryfield is the happening spot on this night!
The Cherryfield American Legion Hall will be hosting a Contra Dance from 7 to 10pm on Saturday, January 20th! The highly combustible music of
Gus LaCasse on Fiddle and
Pepin Mittelhauser on Guitar will ignite the night!
Chrissy Fowler will tame the flames with her calling, teach the Dances and bring order to the conflagration! Everyone is welcome, all ages and abilities, spectators too. We’ll be community building in the funnest possible way!
Refreshments will be served, and sparkling water imported from Milbridge will be on hand:-) Feel free to bring snacks to share or to fuel your own engines. If you have recently been exposed to Covid, or any illness for that matter, or if you aren’t feeling well, please refrain from coming. There is a Suggested Donation of 10 dollars, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds, and everyone is encouraged to give more if they can. The American Legion Hall is located right next to our usual home at the Cherryfield Academy just 500 yards north of Route 1 on Route 193 at 49 Main Street. For more information call 207 546-2998.
