Cherryfield Contra Dance

The Cherryfield Academy Community Center is pleased to announce a Contra Dance taking place on Saturday, November 5th from 7 to 10pm!  The night will feature Gus LaCasse on fiddle and foot percussion, with the fabulous John McIntire reprising his famous role as “The Caller”!!  Everyone is welcome!   Even those who don’t choose to Dance can come and enjoy the Live music and the Parade of Dancers!  All dances will be taught.  There will be a refreshment table with snacks, and a hydration station with pitchers of water and cups.  You are most welcome to bring contributions to the refreshments, but please try to keep them Covid safe.  Masks and sanitizer will be available and their use strongly encouraged.  And if you are not feeling well, or know you have been seriously exposed to Covid, or any illness, please refrain from coming.  To get to the Cherryfield Academy go to the intersection of Route 1 and Route 193 and head north on Route 193 for a about 200 yards.  The building is on the right, address 53 Main Street.  There is a 10 dollar suggested donation, with children less, and so far that has been working about right:-).  Hope to see you there!
