Farmington, Droplet Dance performs “Mama”

“Mama” is presented by Droplet Dance and performed by Molly Gawler, Shana Bloomstein and Lissa Schneckenburger at the Emery Community Art Center, Academy St. on the UMF campus.  All dances are performed by Molly while in one dance she will be joined by Shana Bloomstein.  Musician Lissa Schneckenburger will accompany on  fiddle, ukulele and  with song.  Molly states that the dances will spark thoughts about motherhood,  mother earth, mother ocean, transformation, celebration of water and healing through story dance and song.  She will  dance in classical and modern styles and incorporate acrobatics with the use of a Cyr Wheel.  Mime and theatrical means are used to bring characters and narratives to life. One dance will be on roller Skates!  This event can be enjoyed by young and old.  There will be no snow date! 7-9 PM. $12 adults, $5 students, 18 and under and UMF students free.
