Farmington, State Street Traditional Jazz CANCELED

The State Street Traditional Jazz Band will play authentic New Orleans Jazz at Nordica Auditorium, 224 Main St, as it was played at the turn of the 20th century. This is not Dixieland, not “Straw Hat” music,  this is the Real Deal!  The lively, joyful jazz will include songs such as Has Anybody Seen My Gal,  the Saint Louis Blues and other favorites.  Members of the Portland based band are: band founder and leader John Page on trumpet, Peter Dunphy on banjo, Doug Protsik on piano, Barry Daniels on clarinet, Parker Kenyon on trombone, Tom Wilbur on tuba and Bill Thurston on drums. 7:30-9 PM. $15 for adults, free for under 18 and UMF students with ID. $5 for students of other Maine colleges.
