Portland – Contra Calling 101 Class for Dancers

Portland Contra Calling 101 Class for Dancers by Dugan Murphy.  This class is designed for contra dancers who have never called a dance before.  Attendees will leave with instruction and practice in teaching a contra dance, prompting figures with music, and other callers’ duties.  Meeting at Dugan’s home, 8 Anderson St.  10AM-3PM (before the Falmouth dance that evening).  $25 advance / $35 at the door includes a bowl of veggie chili for lunch.  Register at http://calling101.duganmurphy.com.  FMI contact Dugan: [email protected]; 776-5050.  Please tell him if you’re interested but can’t go or would be interested in a more advanced class experience.
