THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED IN COMPLIANCE WITH RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE US CENTER OF DISEASE CONTROL TO HELP PREVENT THE SPREAD OF THE CORONAVIRUS.
Contra dance with music by Maivish and callers Dela Murphy and Ellen Hodgkin at the State Street Church near Longfellow Square.
Maivish is Jaige Trudel (fiddle) and Adam Broome (guitar) from Quebec.
Dela will call the first half and Ellen will call the second half.

This event is part of the weekly Thursday night Portland Intown Contra Dance series.
Dance roles are gender-free. New and experienced dancers of all ages are invited.
$10 at the door. Enter through the courtyard.
Lesson for first-time dancers at 7:00; dance 7:30-10:00.
Parking is free after 6pm on street around the State Street/West End neighborhood. We recommend budgeting time to find a spot.
