Portland Intown Contra Dance

Contra dance with music by Chimney Swift and caller Angela DeCarlis at the State Street Church near Longfellow Square.
Boston-based Chimney Swift is Zoe Madonna (accordion), Cecile Leroy (cello), and Daniel Ley (cittern & guitar). Â Angela DeCarlis is also visiting from Boston. Â See the PICD website for more info.
This event is part of the weekly Thursday night Portland Intown Contra Dance series.
Dance roles are gender-free. New and experienced dancers of all ages are invited.
$10 at the door. Â Enter through the courtyard.
Lesson for first-time dancers at 7:00; dance 7:30-10:00.
Parking is free after 6pm on street around the State Street/West End neighborhood. We recommend budgeting time to find a spot.
