Contra dance with music by Ness and Friends and caller Angela DeCarlis at the State Street Church near Longfellow Square.
Angela DeCarlis from Boston is returning to call again this week with Ness Smith Savedoff and Friends! Â Ness’s friends include Emily Troll and Lilly Pearlman. Â See the PICD website for more details.
This event is part of the weekly Thursday night Portland Intown Contra Dance series.
Dance roles are gender-free. New and experienced dancers of all ages are invited.
$10 at the door. Â Enter through the courtyard.
Lesson for first-time dancers at 7:00; dance 7:30-10:00.
Parking is free after 6pm on street around the State Street/West End neighborhood. We recommend budgeting time to find a spot.
