Portland Intown Contra Dance

Contra dance with music by Sassafras Stomp and caller Maggie Robinson at the State Street Church near Longfellow Square.
Sassafras Stomp is Adam Nordell (guitar and foot percussion) and Johanna Davis (fiddle). Â Sometimes they sing for us. Â See the PICD website for more info.
This event is part of the weekly Thursday night Portland Intown Contra Dance series.
Dance roles are gender-free. New and experienced dancers of all ages are invited.
$10 at the door. Â Enter through the courtyard.
Lesson for first-time dancers at 7:00; dance 7:30-10:00.
Parking is free after 6pm on street around the State Street/West End neighborhood. We recommend budgeting time to find a spot.
