Scottish Country Dance Workshop

Music is an integral part of Scottish Country Dancing, and it consists of more than just strathspeys, jigs and reels! Through dancing, listening, and discussion, the workshop will explore, compare and contrast the different types of Scottish music to which we dance and enhance our ability to appreciate musical aspects of Scottish Country Dancing. Basic music reading knowledge is helpful but not necessary. The workshop will be followed by a brief session of social dancing.
