Waltz Workshop + Open Dance

Thanks so much to all who waltzed with us at our event in January.

We’re excited to offer you another one in March! We’re trying a new location in Freeport and a new lesson schedule this time.

 

Schedule:

1:45 — Show Up

2:00 – 3:00 — Intermediate Waltz / Flourishes

3:00 – 3:30 — Waltz Foundations

3:30 – 5:00 — Open Waltzing

 

Cost: $10 to $20 suggested donation

 

We will be doing the type of folk waltz done at contra dances, which is different from formal ballroom waltz.

 

No partner necessary. Just bring yourself, your friends and loved ones, shoes that you can spin well in, and water. Casual attire, or fancy if you desire.

 

Well-fitting KN95 or N95 masks worn over nose and mouth at all times are required to attend. There is no vaccine requirement for this event.
