The Cherryfield Academy is delighted to welcome the return of
Allison Aldrich Smith and Hunt Smith with their wonderful band
Some Reel People to create a
Contra Dance for us on
Saturday, May 18th from 7 to 10pm! Allison and Hunt planted the seed for the Cherryfield Contra Dance over 6 years ago and now conduct the regularly scheduled second Friday of the month Contra Dance at the Central Hall Commons in Dover-Foxcroft with their cherished orchestra of friends Some Reel People! Come build community in the funnest possible way at the Cherryfield Dance! Everyone is welcome! All ages and abilities! Children are free! All dances are taught! No need to bring a partner. Spectators, and those who just love the liveliest of live music are welcome!
Refreshments and a hydration station will be on hand. Cookies guaranteed! Feel free to bring snacks to share. The Cherryfield Academy is located at 53 Main Street just 500 yards north of Route 1 on Route 193 in Cherryfield.
