Contra Dance Practice in Surry

Come dance mid-week with us on 1st & 3rd Tuesdays at 7.15pm at The Gatherings in Surry!

Have fun dancing for a couple of hours while helping out our local beginner callers, where they will practice calling dances, doing walkthroughs etc. We’ll also be helping one another with flourishes and sharing other contra dancing tips too, this is an easy space to learn and experiment and ask questions! All are welcome to come and dance, whether experienced or beginner – we especially appreciate some experienced dancers showing up. This is a casual get-together with recorded music, unless some folks show up who wanna play some tunes!

$2/person goes to the community center.
Location: The Gatherings, 1208 Surry Rd, Surry (just 6 miles outside of Ellsworth)
