ONLINE Dances of Universal Peace
March 21, 2021 , 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
The Dances of Universal Peace pair chants from world spiritual traditions with simple circle dances. All dances are taught. All are welcome!
You are invited to a Spring Equinox Dance of Universal Peace from Portland Maine, via Zoom, on Sunday, March 21st at 4pm EST. Join us as we dance and hold all we love and have lost in the brilliance of the returning and ever present light. Please email Jamila at [email protected] for the Zoom link.
After our dance, we will acknowledge and lovingly celebrate the memory of our beloved Muraq’abba Michael (Mike) Francis Monahan, who made his transition at the end of March 2018. For many decades, he was a DUP enthusiast, leader and musician of DUP Portland, Maine. He touched many hearts with his talent as a guitarist, dynamic dance leader, inspired artist and calligrapher, and with his zest for life. A few dancers who knew him will share stories, giving thanks for his presence, friendship, humor, and devotion.
