Rockport—OH! Flying Shoes! Community Dance & Contras

Belfast Flying Shoes and the Rockport Opera House present a special evening of participatory dance on Saturday, November 19. The evening kicks off at 6:00 with a warm-up session for the All Comers Band, open to all musicians, instruments, and skill levels. Tune list available on the website. At 6:30, Chrissy Fowler calls a community dance featuring music by the All Comers Band. The 8:00 contra dance features George Marshall calling with music by Wild Asparagus, the influential and inspiring contra dance band from Greenfield MA (Becky Tracy, David Cantieni, Ann Percival & George Marshall). At the Rockport Opera House, 6 Central St, Rockport, ME. Community Dance admission is $1 kids & $2 adults; Contra Dance admission is $15 suggested. Masks heartily encouraged when dancing.
