Open Klezmer Jams with the Casco Bay Tummlers!
Come and join us for joyous evenings of Klezmer! Led by Casco Bay Tummler musicians

Steve Gruverman and Nancy 3. Hoffman, (and possibly the full band),
these jam sessions are open to anyone who is interested in playing or discovering Klezmer music! All skill levels, ages, and instruments are welcome! Tunes will be taught by sheet music and by ear. There might be some Yiddish songs – and even some dances. You’re also welcome to just come listen and enjoy these beautiful Jewish tunes – and the camaraderie of Klezmer! Fee is $5 a person per session to participate. Sessions will take place on Tuesday, May 23rd and Tuesday, June 20th from 7:00-8:30 PM at the JCA in Portland. Future sessions TBD.
